Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are officially parents. The couple revealed on Thursday, April 2, that they have welcomed their first baby together.
In a message titled “Special delivery” shared through her Beau Society newsletter, the singer and actress confirmed the news on Substack. “Our baby girl has arrived!!” she wrote. “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savoring these early moments.”
She also shared a short note of appreciation, writing, “Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
Their daughter’s arrival comes just under four months after the couple revealed the pregnancy in December. At that time, Steinfeld and the Buffalo Bills quarterback posted a joint Instagram video where the Sinners actress showed her baby bump while standing in the snow. In January, she attended the Golden Globes and referred to her baby as her “newest plus one” while sharing photos of her pink dress on Instagram. By February, she gave fans another glimpse into her pregnancy, posting a photo of herself sitting on a kitchen counter, smiling and laughing with Allen while showing her growing bump.
Steinfeld and the NFL star began their relationship in spring 2023. They later got married in May 2025, only months after Allen proposed to her in November of the previous year.
The Pitch Perfect 2 star has also built a steady music career, earning five entries on the Billboard Hot 100 since her debut single “Love Myself” reached No. 30 in 2015. Her EP also appeared on the Billboard 200 during that same period.
She has continued to combine her acting and music careers by contributing songs to several of her film projects, including the four time Oscar winning film Sinners, where she recorded the song “Dangerous.” Speaking to Billboard last year, she said, “Blending music and acting like this feels like the fullest expression of who I am. It’s rare to have a project that lets you show up completely and Sinners gave me that.”
