Ellie Goulding will take the stage during half time of England's quarter final match against Norway at the World Cup on Saturday.
The Starry Eyed singer revealed the announcement on Friday by sharing a collection of playful photos of herself bouncing on a bed while wearing an England football shirt.
"Performing at halftime for England vs Norway has me feeling like truly anything could happen...," she captioned the post, referring to her 2012 song Anything Could Happen. "I already know the boys will make England proud, it's coming home (England flag emoji)."
Ellie is scheduled to perform for fans at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, on Saturday. The quarter final match begins at 5 p.m. local time, which is 10 p.m. BST.
The team that comes out on top will advance to the semi finals in Atlanta on 15 July, where they will face either Argentina or Switzerland.
Entertainment will also take center stage during the World Cup final at New York New Jersey Stadium on 19 July. Curated by Coldplay's Chris Martin, the inaugural FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show will include performances from Justin Bieber, Madonna, BTS, Shakira and Burna Boy.
According to reports, Ellie has remained in the United States since attending her friend Taylor Swift's wedding in New York last Friday alongside her boyfriend, Beau Minniear.
The singer has had a packed year so far. She welcomed her second child, her first with Beau, in March and is now preparing to release her sixth studio album, I Know Too Much, on 4 September.
