Hayley Williams has faced criticism from the Department of Homeland Security after shouting "F*** ICE" during a recent show, with a spokesperson urging her not to "belittle" federal agents’ "sacrifice".
The Paramore singer made the remark about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) while onstage at California’s North Island Credit Union Amphitheater on Saturday (03.10.26).
During her performance of Ice In My OJ, Hayley also declared: “Free motherf****** Palestine”.
Responding to her remarks, a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson told Fox News Digital: “America is grateful all the time for our federal law enforcement officers who keep us safe.
“We suggest Ms. Williams to thank them for their service, not belittle their sacrifice.”
The Misery Business vocalist has previously spoken publicly against President Donald Trump and his administration’s policies.
More recently, she backed Macklemore and the artists who left Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour following his removal. Macklemore had delivered a "Free Palestine" speech while opening for Ed in New Jersey.
At her September concert at Forest Hills Stadium in New York, Hayley featured music from Macklemore and every artist who departed after he was dropped from the tour’s US dates in her playlist before the show.
Her selections included Macklemore’s Can’t Hold Us and Thrift Shop, Lukas Graham’s Mama Said, Finneas’ For Cryin’ Out Loud, Rowe’s The Lane and Beoga’s Aurora II.
Hayley also took aim at Ed’s approach to politics in an online post, impersonating him as she wrote: “Hey guys I’ve seen all the atrocities going on and I just want you to know I am keeping the conversation open by saying nothing.
"I am a role model (product) and it’s important that I don’t disappoint my young fans (investors and shareholders) by being political. My shows are something so much bigger than politics - they are commerce.”
Ed, whose hits include Shape of You, has said he is “appalled" by the situation between Israel and Palestine.
“Solidarity has to be more than a gesture, it has to be a useful contribution”
Nine Vicious has never had nice things to say about the Opium label, and now, Ken Carson is clapping back on "9 bitches."
