Sauce Walka has said he wants the smoke with J. Cole, and he dropped a new song as the opening salvo.

Taking to his Twitter page on Tuesday (November 28), the Houston native went for a simple, minimalist look in his video, which sampled the classic Alchemist-produced Benny The Butcher track, “Johnny P’s Caddy” (which featured J. Cole).

“I said what I said… ILL GO BAR 4 BAR WIT ANY GOAT‼️” he wrote in the tweet. “@JColeNC let’s dance‼️ [smoky nose emoji] I’m what the STREETS MISSING #FreeSanchie.”

While he’d clearly like a piece of Cole, back in August, Sauce Walka made headlines when he promised that no amount of money — not even a billion dollars — could convince him to work with the controversial 6ix9ine.

Walka spoke about the situation on the Clearly Cultured podcast. After host Mike Mills asked him if he’d work with the controversial rapper for $1 million, Sauce Walka gave a defiant reasoning behind his decision.

“I can’t do it, I can’t do it, I can’t do it” he said. “Why would I go rap with this man when I can have a great time, a threesome, and make a million in two, three months?”

Once co-host J Mac threw out various hefty prices that would entice Sauce Walka to change his mind, he stuck to his guns about not working with 6ix9ine.

“I would’ve signed the record deal,” he said. “One hundred million, a billion — I would not do it. I will not do no song with a person that told on somebody — that deliberately did this in front of the whole world and I have full information of this before. I know that you did this to the world and you represent this.”

As for J. Cole, he’s been celebrating the recent Grammy nomination of his smash Lil Durk collaboration “All My Life,” which is now 2x-platinum after receiving another certification on November 15.

“All My Life” earned Durk and Cole a Grammy Award nomination earlier this month. The Dr. Luke-produced track will compete in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category.

The Almost Healed standout will have to defeat SZA’s “Low,” Drake and 21 Savage’s “Spin Bout U,” Doja Cat’s “Attention” and Burna Boy’s “Sittin On Top Of the World.”
