Roddy Ricch puts his proverbial cape on as he saves women from multiple disasters including an oncoming train and a burning house in the music video for his new song, “911.”

Released as a follow-up to last month’s well-received “Survivors Remorse” and amid the hype from his performance at Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Pop Out’ last week, Roddy is keeping the momentum going with the new track.

30 Roc, 8 MAJOR, Terrace Martin, Okami and Lodoni hold down production duties – marking the first time Roddy has reunited with 30 since his breakout smash “The Box.”

Get into the “911” visual below.

DJ Hed recently shed light on Roddy Ricch’s new album in an episode of HipHopDX‘s The Bigger Picture, revealing that “The Box” hitmaker is working closely with some of Kendrick Lamar‘s collaborators.

“There’s more intention on [this] record. It’s a cohesive effort,” DJ Hed said. “I don’t want to reveal too much, but he has people coming — same people that Dot is working with — coming in and building the sound of what the album is gonna be, what it feels like, the texture, the subject matter.”

He added: “And then sidebar: he’s grown as a man. He’s living real life.”

On the aforementioned “Survivor’s Remorse,” Roddy got more personal than ever as he addressed some of the things that have been going on in his life.

He opens the first verse by confronting the custody battle with his ex-girlfriend over his three-year-old son, which was recently settled with a joint arrangement.

“I been goin’ through child support/ A good daddy, I vouch for it/ She just want a new mile for/ Fuck a ride, fell out with some of my homies, havin’ too much pride,” he raps.

Later in the track, Roddy raps about his struggle quitting lean: “Pride myself off the progress of being off codeine/ I promise, it’s so hard to shake.”

The Compton native’s custody battle with ex-girlfriend Alexandra Kiser came to a conclusion in May, with the rapper having physical custody of their son Tuesday through until Thursday every week.

He also agreed to pay Kiser $8,000 a month in child support, in addition to private school tuition, medical bills, special-needs therapy and extracurricular activities.

Kiser’s legal bill of $37,500 will also be covered by the rapper, and he also has to give her $1,000 a month so she can buy a car.
