Amongst all the world’s top athletes, journalists, and organizers who have gathered at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Snoop Dogg just may be the busiest person there.
If there’s one thing the Long Beach representative is going to do, it’s check off everything on his bucket list in this lifetime — and then some. Just over the last few days, Snoop Dogg landed in Paris and hasn’t stopped attending a plethora of sporting events, cheering in the stands, getting into random side quests, and spreading the joy in the best way he knows how. So far, he has linked up with Michael Phelps, Coco Gauff, Simone Biles, and even Detective Stabler. And thankfully, he’s sharing all of his adventures with us in realtime.
Seeing the “Gin & Juice” rhymer having a ball at the Olympics has been lifting many people’s spirits. One X user put it best, as they captioned a video of Snoop Dogg weightlifting in Paris (yes, you read that right) by writing, “I honestly believe the purpose of life is to just do any and everything. Whatever sticks, flourish in.”

Carried the torch ahead of the opening ceremony

Determined to start his Olympic journey off with a bang, Snoop hit the ground running — literally. The iconic performer carried the torch during the final stage of the Olympic Torch Relay just hours before the Opening Ceremony on Friday (July 26).
Flame in hand, he sauntered through the streets of Saint-Denis around the Stade de France as he blew kisses to his fans, pumped up the energy, and most importantly, passed on the flame to the next bearer to keep the sacred tradition going strong.

It’s only right Snoop fit a slot into his busy schedule to link up with the best of the best: Michael Phelps. The competitive swimmer is the most decorated Olympian of all time with 28 total medals.
“When it comes to one of my lifetime goals, there’s only one man I can think of: Mr. 23-Time, OG, the GOAT,” he says in the footage before dapping up Phelps. “You see, me and MP, we go back like the backstroke. Now, MP, how does one get fast in the pool?”
The revered athlete then answers with, “Wingspan. Lung power.” And Snoop jokes back, “You just described me.”
The duo gets in the pool for their session and the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper proves he’s in “gold medal condition.” Check out the clip below.
Hyped up the USA women's gymnastics team from the stands

Women’s gymnastics is arguably one of the most highly anticipated events this year, thanks to superstars like Simone Biles, Suni Lee, and Jordan Chiles. Snoop made sure he showed his appreciation for the ladies who worked hard to give it their all on the mat, and spoiler alert, they already brought home a gold medal.
Several endearing clips during the Artistic Gymnastics Women’s Qualification day (July 29) show the Doggystyle creator dancing in the crowd while Chiles and Biles excitedly point to him and join in. As the cherry on top, Snoop unveiled his custom Simone Biles t-shirt and sat next to her parents, displaying his unwavering support for the successful gymnast.

Recruiting the D-O Double G to provide commentary all throughout the international event was a genius decision; he’s a natural on the mic. Not only is Snoop a veteran spitter, his charisma and life experiences have given him the ability to talk about anything and everything.
Those skills came in handy when NBC tapped him to be an official correspondent in Paris, and he did not disappoint. In addition to providing entertaining general updates, Tha Doggfather gave the play-by-play for actual sporting events.
During a USA vs. China badminton game, he can be heard saying, “As you see, it don’t stop ’til the casket drop. They rocking and rolling. Back and forth. Give me that. No, I need that. Nope, over here. No, over there. What about over there? Nope… Wait a minute. Way up in the sky! Get out the way. Move, I told you we need that.” See below.
Showed off his weightlifting skills

In true side mission form, Snoop also stopped by a gym to test yet another skill in his arsenal: weightlifting.
The hilarious video finds the emcee mimicking a serious performance in an Olympic weightlifting competition, but instead, he’s simply only lifting a light bar. His acting skills and comedic timing are on full display in the clip below.
Gifted Coco Gauff an ultra special Snoop Dogg x Olympics pin

Coco Gauff officially won the pin game when she received a one-of-a-kind keepsake from Snoop Dogg. According to Metro, the pin was made in Snoop Dogg’s honor to commemorate his time at the games, and he decide it to gift it to the young tennis star.
The personalized silver pin shows an image of Snoop wearing sunglasses and a blue tracksuit while blowing out smoke rings in the colors that match the iconic Olympic rings. The special souvenir is already iconic and has the interned buzzing about how the pin can be purchased. Check it out below.

Everyone loves an unexpected crossover episode. Hip-Hop heads and crime show lovers united to appreciate this latest meet-up between Snoop and Christopher Meloni, otherwise known as Detective Elliot Stabler in Law & Order. The two wasted no time commemorating the rare moment with a selfie.

Even with an endless schedule filled with appearances, shoots, and everything in between, Snoop always knows how to make time for what really matters. The 52-year-old icon brought his family along with him to Paris, and he made sure to find a block of time to play tennis with his adorable granddaughter.
In a post shared by Snoop’s son, Cordell Broadus, the rapper and his family can be seen with their matching tennis rackets in hand and spending some quality time together in the City of Love. Broadus expressed his gratitude for the experience in the caption, writing, “Tennis with Grandpa in Paris it’s a blessing to be able 2 bring her around the world.”
