The 63rd GRAMMY Awards are going down on January 31st. And today, the Recording Academy have announced this year’s nominations.

2020 has, in a nutshell, been one long monkey wrench thrown into the mix of everything. So, why not be thrown into the annual award show, too?

Beyoncé leads all with nine nods, while Roddy Ricch secured six and Jay-Z has officially tied Quincy Jones with 80 for his part on Jay Electronica‘s A Written Testimony–which is up for Best Rap Album.

There’s a few surprises, as well.

To start, The Weeknd received zero nominations for After Hours— one of the year’s top-selling albums. Whether this is by choice (remember, a few years back, when Frank Ocean did not submit his albums for consideration) or chance remains to be seen, though.

The Best Rap Album category (not to be confused with Best Rap Song, Rap Performance and Melodic Rap Performance… which is just.. muddy) is, quite possibly, the craziest one of all: Jay Electronica and Jay-Z (A Written Testimony), Freddie Gibbs and Alchemist (Alfredo), Nas and Hit-Boy (King’s Disease), Royce 5’9″ (The Allegory) and D Smoke (Black Habits).

Obviously, there are plenty of snubs. And, to be honest, we’ve been off putting so much stop in these awards. But still, people care, so here’s the full list…
