MixedByAli is ready to take the next step in his career.

After spending the last decade contributing his ear and talent to endless projects – from his TDE family (Kendrick, SZA, ScHoolboy, etc) and artists likes Nipsey Hussle (RIP), Mac Miller (RIP), and Roddy Ricch – the Grammy Award-winning audio engineer (who’s real name is Derek Ali) has announced the launch of his new record label, NoName Recordings.

“I’ve been blessed with a career that has given me the opportunity to be involved in some of the biggest records released over the past decade,” Ali said in a statement Monday. “With this new venture [a partnership between him and Dan Maynard] we are now enabled to be even more hands-on with developing and curating the new sounds of tomorrow.”

“Our approach is to truly help artists grow and build businesses for themselves,” Maynard added. “Covering all aspects of the industry, from providing the support to curate their sound, to helping them build a brand that will live on forever. We want to create a safe home for them.”

To coincide with the launch, NoName has revealed their first artist, Malik Moses, a singer/songwriter from Baltimore – who is joined by Dreamville’s Bas on his debut single, “Show Me Something.”

Check it out below and be on the lookout for much more from MixedByAli and the rest of the NoName Recordings family.
