Cardi B has found herself in quite the ‘pickle’ after a video has surfaced showing the rapper twerking on a beloved Rugrats character.
On Monday (July 10), Bardi and her husband, Offset, celebrated their daughter Kulture’s fifth birthday with a mega bash at the American Dream Mall in New Jersey.
“You did your big one,” she wrote in a video clip posted to her Instagram Stories, tagging the former Migos rapper. In the clip, Kulture can be seen making her big entrance, before giving the popular children’s character Blue’s Clues a squeeze.
In another clip shared via Instagram — which has since gone viral — the “WAP” rapper can be seen twerking on a statue of the beloved Rugrats staple, Grandpa Lou Pickles.

The video, quickly caught fans’ attention, not for the star’s twerking skills but for what some believed to be oversexualizing children’s events.
“It sickens me they are making kids things sexual, every single day. It’s the agenda I guess,” wrote one Instagram user on HipHopDX‘s repost of the video.
“The kids are doomed. No future if this stupid shhh continues. It’s not sexy it’s not cool these oes happy being oes. Now if a chick did this whole yo kid was around it would be hell on earth right. ??? [face plant emoji],” commented another.
“This why lil girls picking shit up. Watching these new artist turning our community of kids into party poopers & ass shakers,”
Others came to Cardi’s defense suggesting that what you see is what you get — no surprises here.
“It’s Cardi people. Yall plexed over her twerking on grandpa from Rugrats ? Guess she should have twerked on Tommy instead huh. (skull emoji) It’s funny (laughing emoji) And also looks like wherever she is, it’s closed off with no kids around. No matter who she is she is a mom and she not at dumb as y’all want her to be,” one user told the haters.
This latest video comes shortly after the mother of two released a saucy visual to accompany her recent project with FendiDa Rappa — once again putting her cakes on display for public consumption.
Last week, FendiDa Rappa dropped her “Point Me 2” video featuring Cardi B on YouTube. At the beginning of the video, the rising Chicago rapper picks out which bikini-clad women she’d like to accompany her in the visual.
Throughout the video, women can be seen twerking separately and on each other in different settings, with Cardi also joining in on the fun. As for her bars, the Bronx bombshell spits a menacing verse on the drill-inspired track.
